BRITAIN. Trinovantes & Catuvellauni. Uninscribed, circa 100-40 BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 5.81 g, 6 h), Waddon Chase type. Devolved laureate head of Apollo to right, with two 'wings' above the laurel wreath. Rev. Horse galloping to right; above, winged annulet and pellets; below, pellet-in-annulet. SCBC 32. Van Arsdell 1476. Areas of weakness and with light flan faults, otherwise, very fine.
